Dr. Frunza brings a wealth of carbon market related experience, and will instantly boost eCO2market’s already strong quantitative abilities to better serve carbon professionals around the world by creating superior carbon market models. Dr. Frunza’s background in carbon derivatives and allowances at Sagacarbon-CDC makes him an authority in the evolving carbon market.
“The opportunity to join a talented and agile team with a growing reputation excites me. I believe in the future of the market and in the combination of our skills,” said Dr. Frunza. Previously, his consulting work with investment banks and asset managers allowed Dr. Frunza to specialize in risk management, derivative pricing and hedging. His research activity encompasses topics around environmental finance like forestry, energy, and weather derivatives. Marius graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and holds a PhD in mathematics from the Sorbonne university. He is also a partner in Schwarztal Kapital, an independent advisory and investment firm in environmental finance.
